In partnership with the Idaho Department of Education (IDE), Communities for Youth will host two webinars on 12/11 and 12/12 for Idaho’s school leaders to learn about the 2024-2025 Idaho Youth Well-being Assessment and how it can be used to improve student outcomes.
The Idaho Youth Well-being Assessment was designed to help Idaho education and youth stakeholders understand how youth perceive and interact with the communities they live and learn in. The assessment is available for use by middle and high schools across the state.
The one-hour webinars will provide information on:
Benefits of conducting the Youth Well-being Assessment
Means of ensuring parental permission and consent, as well as student privacy and protection
Best practices for implementing the Idaho Youth Well-being Assessment
Guidance, services, and support offered by Communities for Youth (offered at no charge to Idaho schools/districts)
IDE support for addressing strengths and challenges identified by the well-being assessment
Webinars will also include 20-minute Q&A sessions.
Webinar content is appropriate for both districts that have already signed up to offer the assessment, as well as districts that are still considering participating in the 24-25 school year.
