Blaine County Initiative

Blaine County School District, St Luke’s Wood River Division of Community Health, parents, partners and other community members have committed to being a Community for Youth. The initiative hopes to move youth mental health and well-being efforts upstream.

Blaine County conducted their first Youth Well-Being Survey in 2023 which included ~73% of middle and high school students at participating schools. Together, the Blaine initiative is keeping the attention on building the best possible community for kids.

Community Goals

Early in the year, youth survey results were shared with the community and, based on the data, Blaine County partners and community members have decided to focus on youth social connection and sleep as their main areas of focus.
