Communities for Youth is an upstream prevention initiative that works with Idaho communities to identify and address risk and protective factors for youth mental health and well-being. Our goal is to build the best possible communities for young people.

Internships with Communities for Youth

Teen Action Team
Summer Internship

For: High school students.

​Teenagers interested in helping Communities for Youth prevent youth mental health challenges and promote youth well-being in the Treasure Valley are invited to apply. Eligible students must be entering grades 9-12 in the following school year. 

 

​Application are usually open in early April and are due in early May. Parent permission is required to participate.

Community Engagement Internship

For: Upper-level undergrads or grad students.

 

Come learn about and practice authentic community engagement with the Communities for Youth team!  Work study and internship credits available. Placements are available for fall and spring semesters.

Applications are accepted through early September for fall and through mid-January for spring.
