Communities for Youth (C4Y) is pleased to announce the forthcoming launch of our new podcast, Ask the Expert. Ask the Expert was created for middle and high school students who want to understand more about well-being topics ranging from mental health literacy and accessing supportive services, to how to have better conversations and relationships, how to navigate issues like friend group drama, grind culture, the teen job market, and more.

The podcast will feature a monthly interview with a rotating slate of youth mental health and well-being experts from across Idaho, the Mountain West, and other areas. The podcast will be hosted and produced by members of the C4Y Youth Media Ambassadors and the C4Y Treasure Valley Teen Action Team.
Middle and high school students from across Idaho are encouraged to submit their anonymous questions and topic ideas using this form. Submissions will be utilized to help guide decisions about future experts to invite for interviews. Announcements about what experts will be featured monthly and their general topic areas can be found on the Communities for Youth Media Ambassador’s Instagram account, YouthWell.ID.
C4Y is also excited to explore the possibility of guest hosts from across the state and collaborations with local youth or school-based podcasts. Please email C4Yteens@gmail.com with requests.
Are you a mental health and well-being expert interested in being interviewed on Ask the Expert? Please email c4yteens@gmail.com with a short description of what topic they would like to be interviewed on. Experts unable to travel to the recording location in Boise can be interviewed via Zoom.
