The Communities for Youth Nampa initiative and local organizations, including the Nampa School District, Healthy Impact Nampa Coalition, 2C Kids Succeed, and Southwest District Health, invite community members to attend the Second Annual Nampa Community Data Walk on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Walden Hall on the Northwest Nazarene University campus.

This free event will bring together parents, youth, educators, service providers, and community leaders to explore local youth well-being data, reflect on progress made over the past year, and help identify priorities for future action.

If you are interested in attending, please RSVP here. RSVPs are not required but appreciated.

C4Y Nampa Community Lead, Tara Woodard, shares survey insights with community members during Nampa's first Data Walk.

Last year, community members reviewed local data and identified key areas of focus to support youth well-being in Nampa. Since then, local organizations have worked together to address those priorities through youth listening sessions, collaborating on youth engagement opportunities, and strengthening community partnerships.

Participants will explore a series of data posters highlighting youth mental health, substance use, connection, safety, belonging, and other indicators of well-being. Facilitated discussions will provide opportunities for attendees to share their perspectives and help guide future community efforts.

"This work is grounded in what Nampa's young people have told us they need: opportunities to connect, belong, and feel supported," Tara Woodward, Nampa Community Lead for Communities for Youth, said. "The Data Walk brings the community together around a shared commitment to youth well-being and gives us a chance to reflect on what we've started, learn from one another, and identify priorities for the future."

Feedback gathered during the event will help inform future planning and collaboration among local organizations dedicated to helping children, youth, and families thrive.

This work is made possible through the Strategic Prevention Framework Partnerships for Success (PFS) Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) received by Southwest District Health (SWDH), supporting the Communities for Youth Nampa initiative and local efforts to strengthen youth well-being and connection.
