The City of Boise has begun efforts to create a community-wide Youth Roadmap. This effort was first announced this winter as part of the city's work with the larger Communities for Youth Boise Regional Initiative and its focus on increasing youth social connection. As a founding member of the Communities for Youth Boise Initiative staff from city agencies, as well as staff from the mayor's office and city councilmembers have been working on various upstream prevention activities for youth mental health challenges for the past several years.

Currently the city is fielding a brief survey for Boiseans of all ages to provide their feedback on what areas the roadmap can and should address. * The survey will be open through June 2025.
*Parents and teens should note this survey is not taking the place of the Boise Youth Well-being Survey which is conducted in local junior highs and high schools annually.
